McColm Racing is a small established racehorse training complex in Murwillumbah. Situated on 5 acre’s, parallel to Tweed River Jockey Club and only 25 minutes to the Gold Coast.

Currently housing a small team of racehorses, we’re looking for someone with a love for horses to help with morning/afternoon and weekend shifts.

You’ll come with experience handling horses. Whether you've been involved in racing, pony club or your family farm, you'll bring with you a passion for being around them. 

You’re fit, energetic, extremely reliable, trustworthy and have exceptional attention to detail. Your easy-going nature and a positive ‘CAN DO’ attitude means you’re always willing to help out and are keen to learn more. You are capable of working independently and/or within a small team of dedicated people. You’re patient and respectful with horses and value their health and wellbeing. You’re looking for a position where you can feel part of a team, make a difference and feel valued for your skills and experience.

You’re come with experience in:

  • Walking/riding horses
  • Washing, feeding, rugging
  • Mucking out stables
  • Grounds duties (not essential)

This is a part-time/casual role, above award wages (rates negotiable based on experience). Morning, afternoon and weekend shifts.
